[Information] 【Message from Shiga Prefecture】 “The Perfect Time to Travel in Shiga! Round 6 Campaign Extended (September 27th 2022)

Note: Shiga residents do not need convenience store coupons when traveling to other prefectures.

Currently, Shiga residents can participate in the campaign in Fukui, Wakayama, Gifu, Mie, Kyoto, Nara, Hyogo and Osaka.

The “The Perfect Time to Travel in Shiga Round 6” accommodation and tourism campaign is being extended as follows.

Starting September 1, an additional "Shiga Round Trip Coupon 2,000 yen" will be distributed for stays of 10,000 yen or more per night, in addition to the existing coupons.

Applicable Stay Period

【Current】　August 31st (Wed)→
【Extended to】　October 10th (Mon)　（checkout on October 11st (Tue))

• The expiration date of the accommodation support tickets (convenience store ticket) already issued will be read as October 10th.

Shiga Shuyu Travel Coupons Validity Period

【Current】　　September 1st (Thurs)→
【Extended to】　October 11st (Tue)　

• The expiration date of the ticket already issued will be read as October 11st .

Consecutive nights (after September 1)

• The maximum number of consecutive nights per trip will be changed to 7.

Eligible Participants

• Residents of Shiga, Fukui, Gifu, Mie, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Wakayama and Osaka.
• To be eligible, applicants must prove that they are Shiga residents and provide either proof of vaccination (three shots) or a proof of negative test results.
• Campaign conditions may change at any time depending on the COVID-19 situation. The latest information can be found on our website.
• To apply, confirm the accommodation reservation and buy a coupon at a convenience store. In the event that the campaign is cancelled because of the current situation, coupons will not be refunded.

Accommodation assistance：6,000yen／Shiga-Shuyu coupon: issued 4,000yen

Note: At time of check-in, along with confirmation of prefectural resident (residence) identification documents (driver's license, my number card, etc.) for all guests, a history of three vaccinations or negative test results, etc. must be presented.
